Our engineering team takes a holistic approach when conducting equipment failure analysis to determine the structural integrity of each custom machine, lift device or product.
Our failure analysis service relies on both hand calculations and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to uncover flaws and shortcomings to ensure future designs safe and failures are understood so they can be avoided in the future. Mechanical engineering failure analysis is crucial for the safety of everyone and the longevity of future products. We've found that considering both static and dynamic analysis (whenever a system involves movement) can provide important information for increasing both design life and, even more important, safety.

*Typical cost estimates are based on KTM’s experience quoting projects across multiple industries. Many factors contribute to cost, such as complexity and reporting requirements. A 3D model or drawing and written scope of work (formal or informal) is required in order to receive a fixed price quote.
